Collector of Souls
I know you are there
feel the electric intensity
surrounding you
You’ve come to collect
on my soul
offered once so willingly
Why didn’t you come
when I begged for death
bled for it?
Wasn’t it enough
that my darkened heart
went cold?
Or that my mind snapped
and left me
to die alone?
Now that my demons
are all washed away
you’ve come
but I no longer wish to pay

Thanks Dan 🙂 I just happen to love the dark side of life… even though people tell me that I am so “light” bleah! I also love horror, so that helps me a lot too 🙂
My sister thinks horror never bothers me because I focus on the story and characters. People tell me my books are extremely terrifying and that is the way you want horror to be. I usually do light horror but the death of horror in this decade has motivated me to write more scary books. The world needs more horror not everyone can see the good it brings.
This is true.. I write a mixture.. some really scary, some not quite so, some with humor and some just twisted. I like to mix things up and it allows my readers to relax with my writing.
I just wrote an awesome song for the book ‘Freddy vs Jason 2’ fan fiction Vincent Price sings to Rita B’s character. It’s something the real Vincent would do.
Oh wow… I will have to add it to my schedule to read 😀 I will be stopping by your blog in a bit.

Vincent Price is awesome I wish I could have met him. I will have to read more about him. I love him in ‘Monster Club’ he made that movie awesome.
He is definitely fascinating.. I think there is a bio or autobio written about him, but I don’t know the name of it. Monster Club was great 😀
yea that monologue at the end of monster club comparing men to monsters was great. Price was a genius. I am going to try to add a Price like monologue in this book.
