Dulled

You encounter a mysterious man offering you a magic
potion that, once sipped, will make one of your senses (sight,
hearing, taste, smell, touch) super sharp — but dull the others.
Will you sip it, and if so, what sense do you choose?

Does anyone else find this super creepy or is it just me? I mean, come on! I’ve read enough fairy tales to know that whenever a mysterious someone offers you something that it will not be all sunshine and roses. There is always a catch. So you get a heighten sense, but all others are dulled. How dulled? Like non-existent dulled? Or just mildly dulled? Now, if I was a character in a fantasy novel and had to do this as part of a quest, sure, I would accept the drink, but no way am I going to take a sip of something from a stranger off the street. I don’t care what he promises!

How about you, dear readers? Are you braver and more adventurous than I am? Would you take a sip? Share your thoughts with me in comments.
