Seeking Solace in the Horizon of Life & Beyond
It is all about words. Your words are enough to shatter someone's heart. Your words are enough to make a broken heart unbroken. Words have the power to change your life perspectives.

I agree with Maria! This is short yet not short in meaning. It pierces the heart!
Thank you, Rosema 🙂
My pleasure, Lori!
Thank you for taking part, this story ticks all the boxes. It entices reader interaction, immediately establishing imagery and perhaps in this case, prejudice. It hints at a a back story and encourages us to imagine the unfolding plot. I was drawn to a happy-ever-after story but it could go the other way just as easily.
I look forward to next week’s six word novel!
Thank you for hosting this, Nicola.. it was my first 6 word story and I really enjoyed the challenge. I will try to participate again next week 🙂
On empty bed, tears she shed…
Lovely poem, Lori! ❤ ❤ ❤

Aww.. thanks Lori. 🙂 This mine can’t stand alone without yours though. Your six word story inspired me.
It is amazing, maria 🙂 I love it

Aye, Dee.. it’s true.
Oooooh – in six letters
Thanks, Raili! My first!
They’re challenging – I’ve yet to try my hand at it
That they are.. I read Richard Anker’s 6 word stories all the time. He has them down to a science. I may try again. It was fun 😀
I read Richard’s work too. He’s amazing. and Nick from Fifty words is great with the 5o words stories. I’ve dabbled just a little in that.
Oh yes, I read Nick too.. they are both great writers.. I wish I was half as good as they are on their bad days *laughs* Keep dabbling, Raili!
Hi Lori. What’s Richard Anker’s blog url? I couldn’t find it by Googling (but then I rarely go past the first page of results when I search).
Thanks, Lori. I now have Richard’s url.
Awesome, Sandra 🙂
That sure says a lot! Great 6 word story!
Thank you, PJ 🙂 it was my first ever 6 word story
You did great!
