The Delivery

Tobias paced back and forth in the driveway. He was late. Tobias was growing impatient. He’d waited for this day for an eternity since the auction.

Finally, he heard the rumble of an engine. And then his beauty came to rest at his feet. He smiled and clapped his hands.

Marcus honked the horn of the ancient automobile and then jumped out of the car.

“What do you think of her, old chap?”

Tobias was transfixed. He ran his hand along the black metal and the red leather interior.

“Gorgeous! The two-hundred-year wait is worth it.”
