for Haiku Horizons – Prompt: “monkey”

Art credit: Fire Horse by hazey1988

“Warning” Haiku series

fire horses beware
in the year of the monkey
secure your heart well

do not fall for one
we are not compatible
though charming they are

like a prickly rose
beautiful to look at
deadly to the touch

  1. Awesome Lori I really enjoyed this one!

  2. You do have to watch out for the monkeys. Sneaky little burgers.

  3. Nicely done!

  4. Archie permalink

beautiful expression with a great insight! πŸ™‚
