365 Days of Writing Prompts: Day 16

Toot your horn

Most of us are excellent at being self-deprecating, and are
not so good at the opposite. Tell us your favorite thing about

My favorite thing about myself is my inquisitive mind. I am just naturally curious about everything. I spend half of my time doing research on all sorts of topics, ranging from health to spiritualism to conspiracy theories. I just want to soak up as much knowledge as I can and make up my own mind about what there is out there to know. I am not a sheeple or a lemming. I do not follow the norm or the “official” story about anything until I have done plenty of research on it. This is where my mediator skills come in most handy as I can see all sides of an argument and discern for myself which is true.

This curiosity has led me to some strange truths. I don’t believe that doctors or the pharmaceutical companies want to get us well. In fact, I believe they want to keep us sick and bleed us dry of money for as long as possible to line their pockets. The FDA is supposed to regulate and keep our food and drugs safe, but they have allowed Monsanto and their ilk to contaminate everything: our water, our food, our air and even the medicine that is supposed to help us. I do not believe the official story of 911. I believe it was an inside job and it was perpetrated to line the pockets of some politicians and the military industrial complex. I also don’t believe that religion is meant to save anyone’s soul. I believe it too was perpetrated to keep people divided and drive wars.

I know my views are not those of many, but this inquisitive mind of mine has spent countless hours researching all of these and for me, the answers are quite clear: we humans are merely fodder for whomever out there who has the ultimate control. But there is a shift happening and people are waking up. It’s a slow process. We, who are already awake, know that this is the greatest fear of those in control because once awakened, we cannot and will not be lulled back to sleep. And when enough of us have awakened and we see through all the bullshit lies, we will take our planet back.
