Cloud-Gazing – Poetry

January 6, 2016

for JusJoJan – Prompt: Cloud

Cloud-Gazing

flat on our backs
mossy-grass beneath us
and a warm breeze blowing
we indulge in cloud-gazing

what creatures will we see?
a cat curled, sleeping
an elephant ambling on
girls dancing
hearts drifting by

you slip your hand into mine
and sigh
