Frozen In Time – Poetry
for JusJoJan – prompt: frozen
Frozen In Time
~for JK~
I see you there
still the same as before
warm eyes smiling back at me
a mischievous grin
bashful and playful
as you lean in for a kiss
Your silken touch
still sends shock-waves
coursing through my being
elevates me
stirs desire I’ve never known
before or since
Our bodies cling
through want and need
breasts molded against breasts
thighs pressed against thighs
fingers searching
for orgasmic pleasure
I see you there
exhausted in moonlight
spent and content
beads of sweat drip
from your forehead to my shoulder
cradled against my chest
You are frozen in time
in my memory
never a day older
nor a second delayed
from that perfect moment
when I loved you most
