Why I Blog

I could be a smartass and say “Because I can!” And really, isn’t that true of all of us?
Seriously though, I blog because I want to share my words with others. Not only snippets about my life, but also my poetry, fiction, and interesting tidbits I discover on my journey through the web.

In this day and age, we have been given an unique opportunity that our parents and grandparents before us were not afforded. We can broadcast ourselves out to the farthest reaches of the planet, in every town and city, every valley and coastal region. Never before in the history of our planet has information traveled this quickly. So why not take advantage of this and carve a space in this vast information highway for ourselves?

This is the last day of this challenge and I have enjoyed sharing personal details about my life with all of you. Thank you for reading and for those who’ve responded. And now I bid you all, Adieu.
