Writing Projects for May

April 23, 2015

Upcoming May Projects… come join me!

As the Fates Would Have It

As a writer, I like to keep myself busy… well, writing. This April, I have been participating in 3 challenges over at Promptly Written, my writing blog based on prompts by others. I cannot believe how quickly April has passed, with only a week left. So far I’ve written 23 new poems for Poetic Asides 2015 April PAD Challenge and a 30+K Science Fiction story for the A-to-Z-Challenge. It has been great fun and has kept me in a constant writing flow. I intend to continue that flow through the month of May. My projected projects are as follows:

  1. Nice accomplishment! Where can I sign up for May? (smile) Blessings!

    • Which project are you interested in, Ann?

      • Not sure Lori. I’ll check out both websites and post my choice there. I am feeling bold today, it’ll be something else tomorrow (smile) Thanks!!

      • The April challenges are almost done, but you can start an A-to-Z any time on your blog and you still have a week to get into the poetry challenge. The StoryADay in May is intense… I tried it last year and only made it halfway through the month. Hoping to complete it this year. Keep me posted on which project you decide to do.

      • Hmm, I am reading about and learning poetry. I have zero experience with writing a story. So, I just pay attention until I have courage to leave my comfort zone. (smile) Thanks Lori, reality just replaced boldness. (grin) Someday, I’ll make the leap!

      • Good luck learning about poetry… for me, writing poetry is much more rewarding than writing stories… I guess it is the immediacy of a poem. I look forward to your leaps as they come. (smiles)

      • Thank you Lori (smile) Blessings and enjoy your day.
