JusJoJan Day Four — On Reading: The Handmaid’s Tale II

I am about two-thirds the way through the book and my gut reaction is WOW. Things are really building up for Offred (the main character). She is being drawn into two dangerous situations; either situation could blow up in her face. I know more of the circumstances that led up to why things are the way they are in Offred’s present, but I hope there is still more information to come. I am amazed at Atwood’s use of language and her descriptions. She keeps the story moving along by weaving suspense and intrigue into every line. Just another quick jot as I am off to finish the book.
